My Blood Sucker version

When we first discussed about the song Blood Sucker, we had a plan about doing it in an old school Rock vibe for the first half, and then leading into EDM, however when it came to presentation it, the song fell a little short to my expectations and ended up nothing like we originally planned. So due to time limits and some misunderstanding between the DRAX team members, l decided to do a King Drac's version on the song - Blood Sucker.

Once l finished rearranging and mixing the song the way l thought we had originally talked about, l gave Voodoo and Egor a listen to the new version of Blood Sucker. (which they liked) I've been using King Drac's version as a side project to explore mixing with, as well as using different distortion plug-ins on the guitar, along with added midi to the drums, to see if l could use midi sounds in the background as an EQ.

So whenever l get a chance to spend time on the Blood Sucker song, I transfer what l have learnt in class and implement on the song.

The EDM version of the Blood Sucker song will still be left on social media as it's own identity for now.

On the King Drac's version I brought in the EDM after the guitar solo, so that the song would lift with energy and carry the EDM vibe until the end of the song.

I didn't worry about working on the rhythm and timing of the drums, as I will be redoing all the songs and using amplifiers for the guitar parts, along with implementing what l have learnt through the 3 track breakdowns l have completed. I'm hoping to have a showcase at the next Synergy. (remember time tells all tales)

I want to work towards becoming world class and create my own sound print in the industry. So l really need to get some feedback from my mentors whenever, so l can to improve and get better at song arrangements and sound production.
