DRAC'S EMPIRE

The side project DRAC"S EMPIRE is continuing on this trimester and l have been slowly writing new songs. Voodoo and l have been using this project to experiment with different ways of recording. So this trimester is no different in the process.

I have been learning more about how to use EZDrummer which is a software virtual drum program. Learning how to use midi drums will give me more of an understanding of how other musicians and produces apply and adapt this tool to create a more believable drum kit presence in a song. It would also increase our skills in programming drums on the computer, but Voodoo has also started getting his TD 9 an electronic midi drum kit together, so our plans may vary. We are hoping to get 2 songs done in this trimester, and once again that all depends on other projects and the spare time we can create.

The Drac"s team hasn't changed from last trimester, which is really comforting too. Just encase you are new to the DRAC"S EMPIRE bat channel, the team members are:

Voodoo - Philidelphia Murefu - Drums & Keyboards

Elvira - Olivia Pease - Animation

King Drac - Me - Guitar, Bass Guitar, and Vocals

I also compose all the songs too.

Since we are working towards creating a short animation film. The narrative will be expressed through songs plus the animation will be used for visual effects to support the music. It makes it challenging to write a storyline through music.

Elvira is creating a logo at the moment, but she has suggested we get a designer student to create a better logo. I'm personally looking forward to seeing what Elvira has created. There is a lot of work involved in this project, so patience will be the key to a successful outcome.
