In today's Zoom conference session we talk about: ss guitar track cks done. It's been a hard slog so far. This has been a completely different way of working for me, using the artist's reference songs to create the rhythms from. Not only did I have to learn the songs, but l also had to interpret them as l also wanted to give each song its own personal signature. I want to help create Nick J Holmers' own personal stamp for his compositions and for him to acknowledge the work we've done.

All of Nick's songs have been challenging, from reggae to soft metal and all in between.
So what's next?
I asked Phil to get hold of Nick, so we could all talk about the next step in the recording session process. We used Zoom software as used at SAE, to do communicate and our studying online. (due to the CoVid 19)
In todays Zoom conference session we talk about:
How we were going to record the vocals
Where we were going to record the vocals (it's a day to day readjustment in our social movements at the moment.)
What microphones we are going to use. (Ok, what we have)
What Phil and l have to do to complete all the rhythm tracks this weekend.
But most of all, how we can help each other to get the job done.
The conclusion to the meeting,
Phil and l are going to work hard this weekend to get all the tracks done, except for the lead guitar. We have planned only to do lead guitar if really needed.
Nick is going to rehearse the songs to our rhythm tracks once we have complete them.
We will organize another meeting next week, to keep on track with our milestone planner.
