Big Jazz & Big Beat (Day 4)

OK, fourth day at 4EB Radio Station and third day editing another album from their extensive record collection. It's interesting to see the variety of albums they use to keep the listener tuned in to their programs. I'm still exploring and learning more about the DAW Audacity system that they're using for the digital copying of albums.

• Today learning just, the basic applications of the DAW. here is a dropdown box of the effects catalogue that you can access.

I've been using the noise reduction effect application to clean up the in-between track song gaps and the start of the record, plus finish.

If I have any noises left, I edit them out by using the cutter tool. With this DAW, if you cut a section out it automatically pastes itself together, which can be a real advantage for creating spaces of silence between song tracks easily.
