The Coroda Project has just about finished, and the animators have been guiding the B&W Audio team on how they would like the final composition to sound. I’ve added some parts to Voodoo’s composition and time-stretched a couple of notes and now it’s back in Voodoo’s hands to finish off the keyboard element they requested to be altered. Voodoo and I are looking forward to getting this project done and dusted, so we can put all our time and energy into the B&W Funk Bros project.

The B&W Funk Bros Update
This week we will have all the main vocals completed and any drum parts that need to be fixed, due to file transferring via the internet. We have come across a couple of problems due to Voodoo having computer problems and he is doing his best to resolve this. A sample rate problem has occurred, and we are using this experience to learn from.
The only problem that I have at the moment, (which I really can’t do very much about), is my poor old Stratocaster “Blackie” has an intonation problem, (this is my favorite guitar whenever I play live). The intonation problem is starting to drive me crazy, but I don’t have the time and money to get it fixed properly, so I’m going to have to pull it down in the mix and mask it the best I can.
Voodoo is busy doing the keyboard parts. The Grand Funk Master Voodoo has completed one song so far and I can wait to see what he puts together for the next 4 songs. All the song titles have been now locked in stone and ready to be registered with the appropriate organizations. I will register the compositions before the release date.
This week I will be looking at adding more guitar parts, as I need to add a couple of solos and different filler parts that will create more hook lines. All this depends on what The Grand Master of Funk Voodoo brings to the sessions. I would prefer to have more keys and synths, but there are sections that I mapped out to cater for some solos.
